We will wait two weeks before processing applications in casts that are over the size of ten. In addition, there is now a two week wait between applications for the same mun. You apply for one and get accepted, but then have to wait two weeks to apply for another character.

When you have two active characters in game, you can apply for a cameo character. Information about what kind of characters qualify for cameo status is here.

If you've been on hiatus, please, don't apply until you have returned to full activity (there's a two week wait generally).

Here's how I think his telepathy would go:

It wouldn't be a power he realized he would have at first, although that's probably true for most people who get powers by going through the rift. It would be something he would have to work at, not just an innate ability he would suddenly have. It would probably start with a hunch, a feeling like he was reading something about someone but not really knowing where it was coming from. It'd be something he would have to actively do. He wouldn't be getting transmissions from everyone around him 24/7 (holy cow that'd be annoying lol). And I really think it should stay vague. I don't think he should suddenly get a mainline into peoples' stream of consciousness. I think it should be along the lines of, if he chooses to use his power, he can (after he's mastered it a bit) tell if someone's lying to him. He won't necessarily be able to determine what the truth is, but he can tell that it's a lie. He can get an overall sense of what someone is thinking about, if he tries. To me that seems more "realistic" than he can suddenly read peoples' inner thought processes.

I don't think I would want this to be a mind control type of power. He'd be a receiver, not a transmitter. So, mind control, no. Possible manipulation, yes. He could definitely use this to his advantage in certain situations. And I like the idea of him getting a headache if he uses it too much. Then he won't go around using it on everyone ever. ;)

If that's not ok, or what y'all are looking for, I'm fine with picking different power for him.

That is more than okay. :) We weren't looking for anything in particular at all, but we do like to see how the mun wants the power to work for their character when it's something that has so many possibilities like telepathy so thank you so much for outlining it for us.
